"In Memory of Otis"
"Be kind- Everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle"
-Plato

There are no perfect words when we lose something we love with all our heart..
This post is dedicated to my dear & talented friend, Jill Marie Schulse.
Dedicated Pug Lover & Mother.
I know many of you that read my blog are Pug People and I ask that you send her a kind word on her blog.  She just lost one of beloved Pugs, his name was Otis.
We all know that when we lose one of our furry friends, you lose a piece of your heart, never to be replaced again.
All you can do is revel in the past and focus on the love that was given and shared...
Jill has adopted two rescued Pugs from me in the past and I could not ask for a better home for them, truly the rags to riches story.
This picture below was taken with Otis in it.
He is the gray, distinguished, squishy face, underneath Popeye ( formerly Brutus).
Mugsy (formerly Mister Magoo ) is the full figured Pug to the left of your screen:)

Otis will be missed by so many and I hope that Jill knows she is LOVED by ME & many, many artists everywhere!!!  We are with you in spirit..
You are in my thoughts & prayers....
Till we all meet again at the rainbow bridge

COMMENTS:
Dear Bernie -
Thank you so much for the touching tribute to my little Otis. I'm glad to got to know him...I'm going to miss him so much.
You are such a wonderful and special person, and I am very grateful that there are people like you in the world that rescue animals from such horrible abuse and certain death. Mugsy and Popeye are grateful to you too!!!!!!!!! Love ya!
Jill

I'm so sorry to hear about this loss. Today I also lost of my dear pets. One of my kitties that was 8 passed today of a neurological disorder. I wasn't able to afford send him to a specialist to find out what was really wrong with him. He lived 8 months after his first episode happened.

Most of my 7 pets I have taken in for others or found myself. It's great being able to help them as much as I can but it's still very hard when they pass.

Thanks for all that you guys do and I hope you continue to help as many animals as you can. :)

So sorry for your loss.

So sorry for the loss of Otis...

I just left you a Doggy blog award over on my blog - go claim it! :)

What a sweet boy. My thoughts and prayers are with Jill right now. It is an absolutely terrible feeling to lose a pet and its hard to find any sort of comfort.

puggy love!
